Toyota’s come out with photos of two cars they’ll introduce at the ADAC Zurich 24 Hours race at the Nurburgring this weekend. Both Lexus LF-As have been beefed up with a front-mid mounted V10 that delivers 500-HP.
The game plan is to take a group of Toyota big whigs (test drivers, dealers, executives) around the ring. Toyota’s next-in-line CEO Akio Toyoda, the grandson of Toyota’s founder, will also sit behind the wheel of the Gazoo.com sponsored car. Gazoo seems to be some sort of car enthusiast club produced by Toyota.
Not to state the obvious, but it’s fair to assume whatever engineering they learn from this car will be translated into the production model LF-A.

Good for Toyota for trying to make their cars more sporty … a long time complaint they have had.
