Is this the next generation Infiniti M35?

As boring as it looks, this just might be our first glimpse of Infiniti’s next generation M line. Because Infiniti wants the new M to play with Europe’s big boys, the 2011 M will be the first Infiniti to come with a new 3.0Liter V6 diesel. The Europeans, if you didn’t already know, love their luxury diesels. Gas is just too expensive.
The American M will be better, bigger and stronger with a 3.7 Liter. We were told about a hybrid version some time ago but we’ll have to wait and see about that.
Infiniti is definitely stepping it up in risky economic times. The Acura RL debuted before this & the Lexus GS shortly after & neither of these are launching a new model anytime soon.
Wonder if the diesel will make it here to the US?
