New Toyota Verso priced at £16,750 in the UK

The new, 3rd-gen Toyota Verso will be sold in the U.K. with a starting price of £16,750 ($24,450 USD) for the base model 145-HP 1.8-liter T2 model. The flagship 126-HP 2.0D-4D T Sprint version will cost £20,675 ($30,175 USD) . A 150-HP 2.2-liter D-CAT diesel option will be added later this year.

The Verso comes in three trim levels:

  1. The basic T2 grade gets: Five airbags (including curtain airbags protecting all three rows of seats), air conditioning, four-speaker audio with steering wheel-mounted controls, Easy Flat-7 folding rear seats, electrically adjustable heated door mirrors and electric front windows as standard.
  2. The TR grade adds:  Bluetooth, an Aux-in socket for connecting personal music players, additional driver and front passenger side airbags, leather steering wheel and gear knob trim, electric rear windows, front foglights and 16-inch alloy wheels.
  3. The T Spirit grade adds:  climate control, automatic windscreen wipers and headlights, Smart Entry and Start, cruise control and 17-inch alloys.
