Rumor: Infiniti hybrid model in 2010

Nissan has long talked about joining the hybrid revolution and now rumors are suggesting there’s a lithium-ion battery equipped luxury hybrid with a Infiniti emblem on it.

The rumored luxury hybrid might not work though. It might not even happen. Nissan has a hybrid Altima on offer but sales have been so poor that Nissan has even contemplated pulling the plug on it. We’ll have to wait for official word on this. [Jalopnik]

    The sales of the Altima hybrid might be a little bit better if the average person didn’t have to drive 500+ miles to get one.
