Nissan Cube set to start at $13,990

11 February 2009 No Comment

While the Nissan Cube’s been around since 2002 its North American launch, for some reason or another, has managed to create the sort of excitement reserved for cool new lifestyle mobiles. Today Jalopnik has done the Cube’s fans good by revealing the 2009 Nissan Cube will retail for $13,990.

The entry-level Cube will only get you so far with a 122-horsepower, 1.8-liter DOHC inline four-cyliner engine slapped on to a 6-speed manual tranny. As is the game of car making these days, if you want anything but four wheels the options list is sure to add up. I’ll post the pricing details as soon as I get ahold of them.
